To me a nascar lineup is what happens when the real world and the fantasy world meet. To me it’s a real world fantasy, but that’s what we get to experience every weekend.

But you don’t have to be that kind of fan to enjoy the spectacle of a race. In fact, you probably probably don’t even be a fan of a race.
The thing is, the racing sport is a big part of the fantasy side of things. In fact, if youre playing the sport you are probably a fan of the fantasy side of things. Like in real life, if you play pool you are probably a fan of the fantasy side of things. Like if you watch a movie you are probably a fan of the fantasy side of things. This is why it feels so real. In a simulation, you still see the same way the car would move if you were in control, but you cant see the race car itself.
In the real world, drivers do actually feel the car move in the simulator. It is made to look like the car is real, but in reality its all virtual and fake, just like in the game.
